Running around the "lake" in LA
Who says there's nothing beautiful in Los Angeles?
When living there, I would enjoy
a 3
mile run around the "lake" hidden in the Hollywood Hills. I'd tell you how to get
there,
but then the people who showed it to me and call it "LA's best kept
secret" would have to
kill us both!
Come for a run...
This is what the lake and dam look like when I drive up to park my car
for my run.
It's only a 5 minute drive from my place in LA.

Who knew such beauty existed so close to the city?
About 1 mile into my run...and yes, that is the famous Hollywood sign across the water.
About 1.2 miles into the run, you come to the reservoir. Standing
on the dam you
can look to the southwest and see the city in the distance. It's a breathtaking
sight!
You often see the Hollywood sign along the jogging path. This is about 2 miles into the run.
Along the path, just over 2 miles into the run.
That's Madonna's old house you see up on the hill.
